This beautiful picture video by Leigh Harris with stunning photos by Franck Avri accompanies "Under the Eye of the Sun", one of the tracks from my new album At The Edge of Light.
This track was inspired by the magic of the desert... From Uluru and Arabian sand dunes to the extraordinary Monument Valley. It celebrates the wonder and majesty of bright, towering rocks with the massive expanse of wilderness.
In the middle we enter dark caverns and canyons, where the Shamanic spirit floats between this world and the Netherworld before being brought back out into the light...
It involves myself on guitar, Amanda Lehmann and me vocals, Jonas Reingold bass, Gulli Briem drums, Paul Stillwell didgeridoo, Rob Townsend duduk, John Hackett flute, Dick Driver double bass, all brought together by the ever talented Roger King.
Every track on this album is different, and this one I see as a celebration of nature's heartbeat...
