The Genesis Revisited Circus hits Westbury!
It was a fab gig in Lakewood, New Jersey with another great crowd. the following day we had an interesting journey, Manhattan appearing and reappearing several times from different angles on our way to Westbury on Long Island. And what a great venue that was, like a huge circus tent for our Genesis Revisited travelling circus! An explosive evening...
Then on through the fabulous wooded Connecticut countryside to Ridgefield. We had fun celebrating Jo's birthday with fans and special friends amidst the exciting atmosphere at the venue.
And finally before heading away off to Canada, we played at the Egg in Albany, an extraordinary venue that looks like a spaceship. As you enter beneath it you expect Scotty to beam you up! But not all is futuristic there. Albany is a historic place with a beautiful walk alongside the Hudson River.
Our journey north next day included a stop-over on Lake George. Amazingly picturesque with a nineteenth century hotel that resembles the one in that film 'Somewhere in Time'. Off the hook for an hour on the shores transported to another time and place...
Back on the road passing vibrant autumnal colours through wooded hills, we then crossed the border and came into Montreal via the massive bridge across the St Lawrence River.
