US Foxtrot 2024 Tour blog 5 - Magic of Mexico - April 2024

Following attentive hospital treatment plus time to recuperate with the loving care of our wonderful pals Leigh and Franck amidst the Arizona saguaros, I was able with Jo to reach Mexico in time to join the rest of the team for the Guadalajara show... It felt so good to be back on stage again and to play to such a fantastic crowd!

Then on to Mexico City where thanks to Luis of the promotion team, Jo and I visited the impressive Anthropological Museum. The city has many intriguing buildings and beautiful parks and gardens, as well as some ruins from previous civilisations and we'd love to see more when we get the chance. The high altitude reminded us that we were in a mountainous region and the nearby volcano gave the sky a strange colour at times.

The Mexico City show was one of the most extraordinary gigs, with an even bigger crowd, boiling over with energetic enthusiasm and the band exploding with one of their most dynamic performances ever!

I felt relieved on the flight home that I had been able to get back on the horse quickly, and grateful that plans are already underway to ensure a Phoenix show as soon as possible.
