UK Tour blog 1 - UK Tour lift off! - October 2024

The first UK gig was at the Waterside Theatre... home of Friars Aylesbury and run by David Stopps who promoted shows for Genesis all those years ago. It's always a joy to play there and it was a fabulous place to kick off the UK tour of Lamb Highlights, Genesis Greats and Solo...

The following shows in Portsmouth, Bristol, Cambridge and Birmingham all went equally well with wonderful crowds and the music taking off in a spectacular way with the band firing on all cylinders! Fantastic to have Amanda Lehmann with us for the whole UK tour as well.

It was good to get back to Bristol now that renovations are complete on the Beacon Theatre, its name giving the sense of a beacon of light rather than the former name's dark historical links to slavery.

Jo and I were glad to get out for a walk in Cambridge, which we always find so beautiful, particularly when the sun shines through!

The Birmingham Symphony Hall was as splendid as ever, and it was great to see both our publicist Sharon Chevin and agent Alan Day there.

Now about to play in wonderful Liverpool... Everyone on a high with the tour in full swing!
