Waves of joy accompanied the start of the Genesis Revisited tour in Paris. Of course Montmartre had to be visited on this perfect crystalline day. The sunshine brought out crowds and vendors and the packed audience in beautiful Le Trianon created an equally warm buzz.

On by train to Brussels - a great homecoming to the European city where Genesis first took off. A particularly magical and poignant moment occurred in the Ancient Belgique show where the crowd hummed in perfect pitch to the flute melody on Supper's Ready, reminding me of Puccini's humming chorus on Madame Butterfly (I believe).

Next stop - Amsterdam, one of the worlds first flower power capitals. There was a carefree vibe walking by the flower market and charming canals. Watch out though for speeding cyclists and unexpected silent trams... The gig was a blast all the way and great to be back in the viby Paradiso venue.

And so on to Switzerland. A day's sightseeing was in order. Jo and I made it via three cable cars over 10,000 feet up to the summit of Mount Titlis. Entering an ice cave within the glacier was an extraordinary experience. Roll on tonight's show!

A choice so far of fabulous contrasts from the heat of France to the snows of Switzerland. But binding every place so far is the excitement of the shows and warmth of every audience. And so our merry band of nomads continue through Europe...
