Mountains Turned to Clouds - October 2019

After our time in Seattle, we headed up to Vancouver by road through beautiful scenery between distant mountains and ocean...

It always feels like a home coming for me arriving in Vancouver, as I hold warm memories of my four months living there with my family as a seven year old kid. The summer seemed like one long game of "cowboys and Indians" on a wild, stoney road in the sunshine, interspersed with exciting visits to Jericho Beach. I even went to school there for a while, before we all returned to the UK. It was a magical time, never to be forgotten...

We played to an ecstatic crowd at the sell out gig that night.

This might have been only a brief visit to Vancouver, but always with a quickening of the spirit. Great to be there for the beginning of the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend too.

The following day we all flew to Portland. Beautiful views of mountains on land and islands rising from the sea, all merging into the clouds as we ascended... I even caught a glimpse of Jericho Beach...

The Portland show was also sold out and went like a dream... fabulous atmosphere!

So now we're heading for sunny Arizona for the next show in Tucson...
