As the tour rolled on into the North Eastern part of Europe, we immediately sensed the history and all the stories those stones could tell...

Jo and I enjoyed visiting the historic centre of Leipzig, once a walled, moated city. We explored those old streets and admired the tall spires. We'd visited the Bach museum before, but it felt important to once again pay homage to that great composer at his statue outside the church where he played organ. It was a fabulous show that night. The band were on tremendous form and the audience was terrific...

On into Poland, both the Poznán and Krakow shows were terrific too with equally enthusiastic crowds. The applause after Cinema Show was incredible...

No time to explore those beautiful old city centres this time as the tour was moving apace, but we enjoyed the journey from the scenic Carpathian foothills to the land of pine forests and big skies. Then we did get enough time to cross the river and walk around the beautiful cobbled streets of Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. Here we marvelled at Medieval houses, overlooked by the imposing castle. It had loads of charm.

The gig that night went fine, and then we continued on our way by bus out of Lithuania, through Latvia and on to Tallinn, Estonia, where we had to go straight to the venue for soundcheck... We could see the wonderful walled Medieval centre in the distance. I remember exploring it last time. It's one of the most beautiful ancient city centres in Europe.

The gig was fantastic with an ecstatic crowd!
