From Porto Alegre to the bustling city of São Paulo, the Brazilian shows immediately took off with amazingly enthusiastic reactions. Rio was a real high point, and both Niteroi and Belo Horizonte had terrific crowds as well. I believe it was the best vibe on tour in Brazil since Genesis played there in 1977!

It was good to see some old pals like my musician / singer friend Ritchie, who joined tour manager Adrian, Jo and me for a trip up Sugarloaf Mountain. What amazing views you get from there, including forest covered mountains and the dream-like archipelagos in the ocean... It was lovely to share this inspirational place with Jo. Fun to be staying in a hotel with beautiful views of the sea and Copacabana beach, accompanied to the sound of Samba and surf...
