The launch party for my new album was held at Proud Cabaret. This burlesque club has an atmosphere and style of its own. From the moment you enter you feel you've travelled back in time at least eighty years to a world of chandeliers, red velvet, feathers, gilt mirrors and dancing girls. The girls might not have been there in person but their ghosts twirled through the curtains.

It was fantastic to see so many people who have been involved with the album, including Steven Wilson, Jakko Jakszyk, Francis Dunnery, Dave Kerzner, Nick Beggs, Phil Mulford, Dick Driver, Christine Townsend and Nick Magnus as well as band members Roger, Gary, Amanda, Rob and also Nad Sylvan who will be our singer for the Genesis Revisited II tour. Journalists, record company guys, friends, family and those who had won the competition to join our celebration were there.

My brother John, Roger and I performed a brief acoustic trio show, focussing mainly on Genesis numbers. Jerry Ewing of Classic Rock and Prog mags gave a fabulous introduction, which I really appreciated. After that I signed various CDs etc, a good opportunity for me to meet and talk to a lot of people who had travelled far and wide to be there.

A big thank you from Jo and myself to Thomas Waber, David Gulvin, and Freddy Palmer of Century Media/InsideOut for organising the party and for bringing this album into the world. My thanks to everybody who was involved with making it all possible and for the enormous time and effort everyone has put in.

Let's all raise a glass and celebrate the release of Genesis Revisited II!
