Dear Bert Weedon struck a chord with all of us on black and white TV, forever in our childhood. Play in a Day was the promise but you helped us play forever.
Bert made guitar playing look easy. He sowed the seed from which the Shadows sprang, closely followed by the rest of us. I found it was more like Play in a Decade myself. The sun has set on a guitar playing legend who brought it all into our living rooms. The spirit if his sound inspires to this very day.
