How to handle a Squackett? A Squackett is a very dangerous creature which needs to be approached with a chair, a bed, a guitar and scourge, but he quietens down with encouragement. He's currently very excited at the thought of his imminent release...
By turns, all will be revealed... On this album the playing is elastic, tubescent and organic, but never compromised. Vocals are harmonic, the 5.1 awesome and time signatures simple - except for surprise turns when Squackett makes a break for it and strays from the path... Fernandes sustainers travel where no notes have gone before. Yes meets Genesis meets romantic rock... Baron von Rickenbacker meets Count Hackula.
The Squackett odyssey was navigated between various studios and a Twickenham living room around the fridge and hearth...
The Squackett limited edition vinyl single is to be released on 21st April and the album with Chris Squire, Steve Hackett, Roger King, Jeremy Stacey and Amanda Lehmann is due out via Esoteric on May 28th at last for all to hear!
