Crashing Waves and Sprinkles of Stardust - December 2021

The Trading Boundaries show

The two weekend shows at magical Trading Boundaries in Sussex had a wonderful atmosphere. It's always such a joy to play in that beautiful venue, which looks even more amazing now it's been refurbished, and there is always an intimate and special vibe between band and audience.
Roger King created some tremendously evocative sounds on his keys, John Hackett's flute sounded as exquisite as ever, Rob Townsend's atmospheric playing on both flute and sax was powerful and Amanda Lehmann's vocals with guitar added a whole extra dimension of emotional resonance and colour.
It was lovely to see friends and great to spend a few hours out with wife Jo and mum June on a quick trip down to the seaside, where we enjoyed watching the waves crashing on the shore and against the white cliffs.
It was an entirely special weekend. Many thanks to Michael Clifford and everyone at Trading Boundaries for their support and for making it all happen in such a terrific way. Looking forward to returning next year!
