From Mediterranean Skies to Parisian Highs

It felt great to arrive at the fabulous waterside hotel in Mediterranean Monaco. Jo and I enjoyed some lovely walks through palm lined paths alongside the deep blue sea... A welcome short break from our currently freezing cold northern climes!

The show in the exquisite bijoux Opéra De Monte Carlo Theatre went down a treat with the audience and we all thoroughly enjoyed playing there. From Monaco to Paris, we were hit by wind and freezing rain on arrival, but we received such a warm welcome from all the French people we met, and Paris was as spectacular as ever. We braved it up the Eiffel Tower to see the most magnificent city view. Across the river, we explored the intriguing Musée de L'Homme, where you feel you're walking through the entire life of Mankind...

We also took a look at Notre Dame, relieved to see the work going on to restore that beautiful and iconic building. We then visited Sainte Chapelle with its wonderful stained glass windows as well as the Conciergerie, former royal palace, courthouse and prison... The Isle de la Cité is indeed a stunning, essentially Medieval part of Paris.

The show at the fabulous La Salle Playel went magnificently well. The band played an absolute blinder, we all had a terrific time, and the crowd was totally ecstatic! We felt so embraced by everyone in glorious Paris... Merci beaucoup à tous! We so much look forward to returning as soon as possible.
