It feels fantastic to be on tour again after so many months. We all dived in as if no time had passed by... the crew is giving their all and the energy of the band on stage is as powerful as ever! So far, from Leicester to Liverpool and on to Stoke and Birmingham, audiences have been fabulous and we really feel the appreciation of everyone.
It's terrific to visit some of those wonderful places too. This time, Jo and I had a fascinating walk in Liverpool, experiencing two extremes, from the space-age style Catholic cathedral to the enormous old cathedral, with its gothic archways and spooky park, replete with ornate tombs, gravestones lining the walls and walled up crypts. There are some impressive buildings in Birmingham too, from the classical style Town Hall in Victoria Square to the huge shining silver wall of New Street Station.
Now on to Cambridge, Cardiff and Basingstoke before those three London Palladium shows...
Celebrating every city and town, we're all thrilled to be back!
