Italy Tour blog - Statues, Spires and a Band on Fire - November 2024

Touring the Lamb Highlights, Genesis Greats and Solo show in beautiful Italy has been a total joy...

All the shows in Rome, Bologna, Padova, Milan and Turin went off like an exploding rocket with a terrific expression of excitement from the wonderful crowds!

It was also as special as always in Italy to visit those extraordinary places...

The Pantheon in Rome always quickens the spirit, with its breathtaking domed roof, beautiful statues and spiritual history spanning almost 2000 years, beginning with Emperor Hadrian's dream of an extraordinary building to celebrate the pantheon of gods. Durga McBroom joined Jo and me there along with Nad and our special pal Nick.

We also had took a moment with our lovely Italian friends Vania and Raffaella to visit the spectacular open space lined by majestic statues and bridges over water in the centre of historic Padova. As with Rome, Padova always has something new and beautiful to offer every time we're there.

This time we also had the chance to gaze at the impressive Duomo in Milan, with its stunning carvings and spires. Milan might be Italy's fashion and financial centre, but its history is fascinating and it was also the home of genius and creator of the Mona Lisa, Leonardo Da Vinci.

As always, Italy has been a wonderful experience! The tour was a great success and it was was fabulous to see our friends. A big thank you to Adrian, Brian and our team as well as all the promotion team, including Sergio, Massimo, Raffaella, Vania, Alessandra, Stefania, Oscar, Christian, Manuel and all! Thank you Italy!

Now, on to Madrid...
